From the rolling green hills of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, David took a trip to Japan. Along his journey, he met a Japanese boy named Koichi. He wore dark glasses and came from a large old apartment block surrounded by pear trees in a town outside of Tokyo. Together they ate green tea pancakes in Kyoto and walked across a bridge almost a thousand years old. Soon they discovered they both loved to travel. And so here they are, renting cars, catching ferries and taking planes, individually recording their thoughts and experiences in this simple travel journal.
